With all due respect, the only thing I believe in is myself...

Ever since the time I lost something irreplaceable, that has never changed...

From my birth to the time I die, I'm on nobody's side but my own...

I'll never be binded by anyone...

It's because I live for myself...

Once Upon A Time

2011-08-14 at 8:43 p.m.

Once upon a time, there was a little little fox, who at that time, have yet not mastered the art of charisma. He was just like a plain piece of paper on the field of love. Untainted, naïve and think that love is probably the most wonderful miracle on earth. If you know little little fox for long enough, you would have probably have heard of his recount of this particular incident that involve the most beautiful lady that once appeared in his little little foxy life.

When little little fox was still at the tender age of eighteen, he was a studios fox who attended school regularly no matter how early lessons were. And every single day, he would share that little space he occupies in the cabin of the train with many others. Life was like a routine without any changes for him every single morning. Until she came along.

She that will share that little space that little little fox occupies with many other people. Her long, straight, smooth flowing hair that swayed gently with every whisper of the wind! Her ivory white flawless skin that reflects the reminiscences of any light that lands upon it! Her clear crystal eyes that shone brightly, fueled by the confidence yet gentle nature of her soul, emitting a tranquilizing warmth upon those who looked upon it! Her high and well crafted facial features that only nobles of royal blood would possess! Her well endowed body of perfect proportion that sprouted long slender legs that seem to be sculpted from the very sculptor ascribed personally to the Goddess herself! The alluring scent of her perfume spoke of mesmerism and mystery! Her angelic deposition that resonated a unique class of elegance unlike any other mortal women little little fox have ever met!!

She was that lady that captured naïve little little fox’s heart and sets it thumping, beating wild against his little little chest every morning when she appeared. Her face was the only face little little fox can see in that sea of people. And so, unknowingly to little little fox, she had became his motivation that sets little little fox excitedly getting out of bed and all dressed up in his best when morning breaks.

The flurry of time never stops for any man and days weave into months. One day, little little fox wonders if she had ever noticed him. So little little fox decided, since Valentine was coming, he was going to give a rose to the lady of his heart that he did not know her name. And so it was decided. But before that, there was once when she actually spoke to little little fox. It was a mere “excuse me” when she was finding her way out of the train. A tone so soft and so gently to the ears that could sooth and set to rest any frustrated soul within, but to little little fox, it was a voice that set his very soul ablaze that day. Never had he felt more alive than any other day!

And so Valentine day came. But she never came. Poor little little fox, waited at the station with that little little rose in his little little paws. He waited and waited with the rose with each passing day, he could feel a little little piece of his soul manifesting into disappointment. But on the third day of his wait, she appeared before him. Just like an angel that she always was. It rallied him back to life and renewed his untold happiness. The rose miracally went into full bloom.

Little little fox can still remember the thumping on his chest so violent and so fast that it set him into a state of hyperventilation, the sensation in his chest that almost blew him apart. And up till now, little fox can never explain where or how he had found that courage he mustered that day, to approach her, to start a proper conversation with her, and to give that very rose he had planned months before. Perhaps love like ancients used to say “It gives you courage, it set you brave, so go all out and love unlike any other day!” And so little little fox learned that her name was “Michelle”. A beautifully crafted name only suited for such a fitting lady like her, that made all other mortal women that shared the name, undeserving! And that it was the daughters of jealousy and the sons of envy, that compiled them to share this very same name with her!

But it was also this day, that the little little rose was rejected and little little fox learned that she was married and was older than the mortal age of 25. The same day that turned his little little life bleak, cloaked it in darkness so dense and so heavy that it became impregnable. But little little fox was naïve and pure.

Unknowing to little little fox then, she would cease her existence in the months to come but for two years following suit after this incident, on the 16th day of every February, little little fox would place an exact same rose at the very place they first met all in the memory of her.

Yes, at the train station, for two freaking years.

=============================================

Come to think of it, I can never fully understand what had compiled me to actually do this feat back then. It was super embarrassing to come to think of it now. My action was nothing more but an OVERKILL. The conversation we had was also disastrous. But got to admit, my courage had more brawn than my brain. And in another way, I’m glad I actually approached her while throwing away all possible face I had because if I did not, this would probably be one of the regret I have in life. Like they say “You never know unless you try… even if you fail, you’ll still die a good death.”

Michelle became the infamous MRT girl that my older generation of friends who had followed me through life during that period would probably know. My triple M notion: M for Michelle, MRT and Married. She also pioneered my habit of looking out for any ring and what type of ring that a girl might wear on her third or fourth finger which in turn, determines my actions if I would to approach her.

To think of it, I think she is probably one of the most beautiful ladies I have ever set my eyes upon on (apart from celebrities) up till now too. If I ever meet her again, she probably would have been a mother by now. But with such superior genes like hers, the child must be one of a hell kind of goddess or god in our mortal world when they grow up. And damn that lucky man that marries her.

It could have been me. LOL.

In theory, receiving a rose from a total stranger might seem romantic. But in reality, it scares the shit out of any girls (probably). So guys, don’t ever try this. You’ll be better off shooting yourself in the head.
